Funded Projects
Any ward, unit or department can apply to the Friends for funding. The Friends trustees meet bi-monthly and will consider any request if it meets our very simple criteria; it must benefit patients or staff based at St George’s Hospital.
How to apply for funding
It’s easy, email our secretary Anne.Whiting@stgeorges.nhs.uk with an initial application; what you would like us to fund, what the cost is and how it will benefit patients and/or staff. We will then contact you for more information and applicants might be asked to make a presentation to their support request.

Dementia Friendly Garden
The Dementia & Delirium Team in Neurology Outpatients requested funding to create a garden for their patients suffering from dementia.
LED Skylights for new Trauma Ward.
We have just funded LED Skylights for the new trauma ward which opens at the end of May. These panels will be on the ceiling of each bay and I have the imagines of what the ward have chosen.
